I'm back from France!
It was rad, except for FREAKY ASS FRENCH GUYS WHO ARE /SCARY/

oh my god
I have stories but I'll save them for people who want to hear them
but they involve getting lost, and scary propositions from scary french guys, and being followed and stalked and groped and GOD DAMNIT, FRENCH GUYS ARE NOT CUTE, THEY ARE SCARY!
we also spent two days in switzerland, which was about 10x better and gorgeous.
it was actually just the south of france that was bad. srsly.

but it was super fun, made a bunch of friends and had a blast, and climbed a million staircases

• making out in public
• dogs
• bicycles
• moped/vespa/scooter things
• walking
• cafés
• smoking

things the french hate / don't believe in
• americans
• large bills / incorrect change
• smiling
• ice cubes
• air conditioning
• free bathrooms
• soap
• toilet paper
• toilet seats
• personal boundaries
• pedestrians
• stop signs
• hair dryers

unfortunately i got really sick coming home, so i'm stuck loafing around with a fever and a nasty faucet-nose.

while i was gone, my aunt mari passed away. which means i am dripping not only from the nose but from the eyes as well, and am flying down to california for the memorial in a few days. i'm just so grateful i got the chance to say goodbye. she is truly the most amazing person i will ever meet and it's just the biggest tragedy in the universe. i know everyone idolizes people once they're dead, but she touched so, so many lives. she's a hero, and i don't use that word lightly.
